YELRIHS (aka Shirley backwards) is a DJ, electronic music producer, and mentor specializing in house music, techno, and progressive electronic sounds. A classically trained pianist and former drummer, she masterfully blends classical music theory with electronic production expertise in her performances. Known for her driving basslines, dynamic vocals, and immersive storytelling through song lyrics, melodies, and soundscapes, YELRIHS creates an uplifting dance experience that captivates audiences and fuels positive energy on the dance floor.

YELRIHS's notable accomplishments include being featured on Blond:ish's Abracadabra TV, where she showcased her unique style to a global audience. She has also released music under Plasmapool Records (Germany), further solidifying her presence in the global dance music scene. She is honored to have supported top-tier artists like Sam Divine, Morgan Page, J. Worra, Ferreck Dawn, VNSSA, J.Phlip, Sydney Blu, Le Youth, Nostalgix, Genix, Spencer Brown, and Qrion. Known for her mindful approach, she creatively builds her sets to keep the crowd moving, progressively building energy throughout the night.

Based in Edmonton, AB, Canada, YELRIHS co-hosts the popular monthly event Deeper Grooves on the first Friday of every month at The Faculty Event Centre. The event features deep and progressive house music, providing a platform for local artists to connect with emerging talent. As a 2024 FEMME HOUSE Fellow, she advocates for gender equity in dance music, also supporting organizations like Change the Beat, SheQ Audio, and DollHaus.Yeg. YELRIHS' newest peak-time techno side project, NEON WAVES, is an upcoming collaboration with electronic producer ALEENA, delivering relentless intensity and hypnotic rhythms built for the club.
