THE WIND DOWN
“A Family Friendly Music & Arts Campout”
Presented by GetDown YEG & West Cove Recordings
The Wind Down isn't just a new name—it's a reflection of our shared vision for a festival that brings together people from all walks of life. As we step into this next chapter, our mission remains steadfast: to create a safe, inclusive and FUN welcoming space for people of all ages, backgrounds, and identities to come together, to celebrate music, art, dance, and build lasting memories and connection.
Our values are grounded in family, safety, acceptance, respect, and community. From the intimate performances to the family-friendly activities and workshops, every part of The Wind Down will reflect our commitment to making a space where everyone feels at home.
Thank you for your continued support as we wind down and reflect on the past while embracing the future. We can't wait to share this exciting new experience with you!
Land Acknowledgment
The Wind Down, GetDown YEG & West Cove Recordings acknowledge that we are on Treaty 6 territory, a traditional meeting grounds, gathering place, and travelling route to the Cree, Saulteaux (So-toe), Blackfoot, Métis, Dene (De-nay) and Nakota Sioux (Sue). We acknowledge all the many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit whose footsteps have marked these lands for centuries.
